I feel truly blessed to be able to combine my passion for nutrition, love of CrossFit, and desire to help others become the healthiest version of themselves.
After spending my high school career competitively horseback riding, I was looking for something different heading into college, so I gave CrossFit a try. My first WOD was Murph and I was hooked! Once in the CrossFit community, it wasn’t long until I heard terms like ‘paleo’, ‘macros’, and ‘cheat meal’ being thrown around. I soon realized that my diet of pizza and Ben & Jerry’s wasn’t going to sustain my workouts for much longer!
My desire to improve in the gym lead me to research and experiment with my own nutrition. Not only did I learn that you need to properly fuel your body to perform well, but also experienced first-hand how nutrition can positively affect many other aspects of life. This motivated me to pursue my B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics and become a Certified Sports Nutritionist through AFPA.
I don’t believe in the one size fits all diet prescription, but rather a balanced and flexible approach because our nutrition should be as individual as we are. I feel truly blessed to be able to combine my passion for nutrition, love of CrossFit, and desire to help others become the healthiest version of themselves. I’m honored to be a part of the TILT Team and can’t wait to help others achieve their goals and develop a more balanced and fulfilling life through healthy eating.
