Did it. Ran out of air in round 4. Took a quick break and then back at it scaled down to finish.
QOD: Thanks to “The 6 Million Dollar Man”: Biomedical engineer
Recess – Done!
400m row & 12 thrusters for all 7 rounds. (Also managed not to cry, which I felt like doing consistently through this workout – will consider that a win!)
So strong Kerri!! Way to stay consistent each round! 👊
Thanks, Katherine, and same to you! 👊
Tried to “Avery”- it. Failed
Subbed burpees for row
Single 50# two hand thruster
4 rounds held time
Then just tried to keep going
Total time 23:30
That was very brutal
WOD: Recess – 450m row held through 4 rounds, dropped to approximately 400m in the last 3, 3066 total meters. 20 lb dumbbells.
QOD: Professional jazz musician (not kidding).
January +1 challenge: 21 push-ups (12 hand-release max set + 9), 21 v-ups, 21 lunges each leg, 20 lb dumbbells (24+18, couldn’t hang on for unbroken immediately after the WOD).
Recess – 420-430m row each round, 12 thrusters 20# DBs. Felt good today so took on a more challenging weight and row instead of bike (which is my usual go-to). Stayed pretty consistent and turns out I don’t dislike the rower as much as I thought. Lots of small victories today!
QOD – a singer, I was in choir and also had a Britney Spears phase
