Unbroken Swings and Lunges! QOD
What do you remember about your first class?
Creeper – started 45# KB, switched to 35# KB for round 5, 14 cal row, 10 TTB
I need to get my TTB back, had a hard time getting a good swing going
QOD – The first day Tilt opened I wanted to signup for the gym and not the classes. Sean was so nice I decided to try the noon class and I have never looked back.
QOD: I remember getting on a rower for the first time ever and Sean saying “legs, body, arms” over and over. Also remember feeling so scared walking in the door, but couldn’t wait to go back once I finished (still feel the same every time)!
WOD: Creeper – 45 # KB rounds 1-4 and 7, 35 # KB rounds 5-6. Row fell apart in round 4 and couldn’t recover, everything else as Rx. First time using the 45 # KB!!!
QOD: When I first read this question I didn’t know context. Like day of school? Seeing everyone else’s answer makes it clear, lol. I was late to the game when so many of my peers had been going for over a year. I came from mostly being a casual runner, and I was looking forward to mixing it up. I remember the first day was a mix of farmer’s carry and running and I was actually kind of annoyed.
Creeper – check (lunges, swings, burpees, hollow rocks)
QOD: Being reluctant to step in and then being pumped to do it everyday thereafter
done – 16 lunges w/25# KB, 18 swings, 11 cals on the rower, 30-second plank
QoD: Sean T’s amazing support of the start of my journey. Still there with every coach.
